Press and hold both the “minus” and “mode” buttons on your remote at the same time. Do this for about 3 to 5 seconds.
If there was a lock or an “E” symbol on your remote, it should vanish. That means your remote is unlocked and ready to roll!
Just to double-check, hit any button on your remote to make sure it’s working fine.
But if that pesky lock or “E” symbol is still there, don’t worry. Give those steps another go, or maybe swap out the batteries in your remote.
